1. A Message of Faith to The Disciples v. 15-16
    a. This was a message of faith for the disciples
    b. This was an opportunity for the disciples to believe more deeply
    c. This was necessary for their faith in Christ

    2. A Message of Faith for Martha vs. 20-27
    a. Martha was clinging to hope
    b. Martha had faith in the resurrection at the last day
    c. Jesus gives her a pronouncement concerning Himself; “I am The Resurrection and the Life.”
        (1) Those who die in The Lord shall rise again
        (2) Those who are alive at His coming will never die
    d. Martha declares her faith in Christ v. 27
        (1) Jesus is Lord
        (2) Jesus is The Christ
        (3) Jesus is The Son of God
        (4) Jesus is The One who was to come into the world

3. Jesus Shows Them All “The Glory of God” vs. 39-44
    a. Jesus is God in the flesh, The God of the living and the dead
    b. Jesus is the victor over death and the grave
    c. Jesus is the manifested Glory of God in the face of death for all world to believe

4. Almost a Great Revival vs. 45-47
    a. Many of those who had been with Mary and Martha believed Jesus was Christ, The Son of God
    b. But not all - some did not believe
    c. The high priest and the council acknowledged that Jesus had indeed performed many signs

Conclusion: A missed opportunity for the nation
    a. Their rejection of Jesus was set firm against Him
    b. Their rejection was To Keep things as they were
    c. Their rejection was born of fear for the Romans and the thought of loosing everything
    d. Their rejection fulfilled prophecy and the prophecy of the High Priest, it is necessary for one to die for all
    e. An opportunity for a great revival was missed because of fear
