God's Gift Is Right On Time
Stand-alone Sermon
Introduction: The Gift
a. The Gift is given to All Believers - John 1:12
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right (authority) to become children of God, to those who believe in His Name.
b. The Gift Cannot Be Bought - Acts 8:20

1. The Gift Is The Product of God's Love Romans 5:6-8
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet, perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die; But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

b. God proved His love to all sinners with His gift.
c. Christ came to die for the ungodly as God's gift of Grace
John 3:16
For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
2. The Gift Brought Justification - Roman 5:15-18
But the gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the Gift by the grace of the One Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgement which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the Free Gift which came from many which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as through one man's offense judgement came to all men resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteousness act the Free Gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
a. Because of God's grace, justification came
b. Because of Christ's sacrifice, justification came
3. The Gift Brought Eternal Life Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Our Lord.
a. To Those Born of God - John 1:13
Who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God
b. To Those Who Are Slaves of God - Romans 6:22
but now having been set free from sin, and having becoming slaves of God (servants), you have your fruit to holiness and the end, everlasting life.
